How to Master the Short Form

Become a modern-day Hemmingway:

  1. Live an interesting life. Each day = thousands of words.
  2. Take pictures. Each one = ~1000 words.
  3. Start blogging. Each hyperlink = ~100 words.
  4. Get into Twitter. Each post = ~10 words.
  5. Write fewer words more often. Each haiku = less than 10 words.
Pretty soon you'll find yourself thinking in short, finely-crafted phrases perfect for script, poem, or list publication.

Just remember the words of the great Jack Dorsey, "One could change the world with one hundred and forty characters."
