Humanized Enso on Parallels

Navigate your computer with ease Enso is like Quicksilver for Windows.

Only trouble is, it maps to the Caps Lock key exclusively. And on Parallels, the Caps Lock key triggers the Start Menu. Because I use Caps Lock as an alternate Command key on Mac.

So, I used Key Tweak to remap the F1 key to Caps Lock as well. Badda boom.

But now it's hard to reach, and silly Enso is quasimodal. My solution is to use F2 as an alternate Left Alt key. Then, the Enso prompt will stick, just like Quicksilver!

Next problem: Getting Enso to work over Remote Desktop.

Hi Dominic,
Thanks a lot for finding this workaround to the Paralells problem! We were surprised by how many of our users use Paralells! We have already had several requests to improve compatibility. Our long-term solution is going to be to allow the user to choose a key other than Caps Lock to activate Enso, but in the meantime, I have put a link to your solution on the Enso FAQ page.
